I had the opportunity to create this game ready model in collaboration with Tyler Ellul and Adam Douglas. Tyler was responsible for the hard surface modelling of the scarab's legs, and Adam was responsible for animating the walk cycle. My work included the high poly sculpt of the scarab, retopologising, baking all the textures, texturing the model, and finally rigging it. This was a fun project to work on and really pushed me to utilise everything I had learned in the high to low workflow of character creation, from ZBrush sphere to the final rigged and ready to animate model. It was a lot of fun and it was my pleasure to share the process with the other talented artists!
